How it works

Four steps, no typing

  1. Start listeningTap “Start” on the Timer (or in the Pro widget). While it runs you will see an ongoing notification with a Stop button.
  2. The app detects waterAn on-device model recognises running water and estimates litres from your profile and optional calibration.
  3. See the summaryReview estimated litres, time and cost, plus your day, month and year history.
  4. Stay on targetSet a daily budget and alerts. Forgot to start listening? Add a session manually.

Challenge

30 days of cold showers

A simple plan: one cold shower a day for 30 days. HydroTracker keeps track of your streak, calendar and milestones.

  • After your shower, set the temperature to “Cold” in the summary and the day counts.
  • Choose the minimum cold time (1 minute by default) — it is your call.
  • Calendar, current and best streak, and milestones on days 14, 21 and 30.
  • Miss a day? The streak restarts, but the days you completed stay.

The challenge is free to join. Detailed cold stats are a Pro feature. It is for fun and motivation, not health advice.

Questions, answered

Are the numbers exact?

No. Litres and cost are estimates based on your flow rate, time and settings.

Does it record me?

No. Audio is processed in memory and never recorded, saved or uploaded.

Do I need an account?

Yes. Signing in with Google is required to use HydroTracker (the app shows “Sign in to continue”). Your e-mail, user ID and a backup of your history are collected from every user so it can sync and restore on a new device. Backup is free. You can delete your account and cloud data in Settings > Account - see how to delete.

Is my data backed up?

Yes, automatically once you are signed in. Audio is never recorded, saved, uploaded or backed up.

Is it free?

Yes, free with ads. Pro is optional.

Which platforms?

Android. English only for now.
